The Telangana Election Commission has released the initial electoral roll and announced timelines for data validation, as well as hiring additional staff to expedite the process.
Today marks the publication of the Draft Electoral Roll in Telangana. In a press briefing at the Election Commission office in Hyderabad, CEO Sudarshan Reddy outlined that 78.30% of enumeration forms have been successfully collected from electors. Approximately 92 lakh applicants registered for the electoral roll will receive notices requiring additional information or clarification by October 15, 2026. The final publication is scheduled for October 19, 2026. To ensure a timely completion of the process, an additional 1000 personnel will be employed. The Booth-wise lists of absent, shifted, deceased, or duplicate electors whose names are not included in the Draft Roll have been made available on both notice boards and the Election Commission's website. Electors discovering their names missing can resubmit their applications using Form -6.
