Amit Shah to inaugurate a two-day conference focusing on national security; over 800 officers from various forces participating.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will commence the two-day 9th National Security Strategies Conference (NSSC) in New Delhi today. The event, held in a hybrid format, gathers approximately 850 officers from multiple security and police forces across India.
This annual strategic forum aims to facilitate coordination among intelligence, paramilitary, and police leadership on matters related to internal security, border management, and emerging threats. Its inception was prompted by a directive from Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the DGP/IGP conference in 2016.
The objective of the NSSC is to address major national security challenges utilizing the extensive experience of officers working at grassroots levels, in conjunction with domain experts.
