Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, is visiting several districts in Punjab to meet families who have lost loved ones due to drug trafficking and have spoken out against the trade. This visit follows allegations of drug traffickers thriving under the patronage of the AAP government.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is currently on a mission in Punjab, aiming to console families that have suffered the loss of loved ones as a result of speaking against drug trafficking. The families he will be meeting reside in Mansa, Gurdaspur and Sangrur districts. These losses occurred after the family members voiced their opposition to 'chitta' (synthetic drug) traffickers who have reportedly been prospering under the protection of the AAP government.
Mr. Shah has expressed that the grief these families are experiencing transcends words. He emphasized that any attempts to silence those who speak out against drugs will never be successful.
