Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah spoke with the Chief Ministers of four states affected by Cyclone Arnab and assured them of assistance. NDRF and SDRF teams are conducting rescue and relief operations.
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, has spoken to the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh, following the impact of Cyclone Arnab. In a post on X platform, he assured them of every assistance to mitigate the hardship faced by the people due to the disaster. NDRF and SDRF teams have been deployed for rescue and relief operations, which are ongoing on a war footing.
IMCTs will soon be dispatched to assess the impact and determine further assistance required. The Government of India stands with the affected population with resolute commitment.
