Union Minister JP Nadda has urged the government to discuss the NEET paper leak issue in Parliament, aiming to formulate an effective policy to address the problem permanently. According to Akashvani News, Mr Nadda addressed the media in New Delhi and expressed his concern over the Opposition's handling of the matter, stating that instead of engaging in blame games and shifting goalposts, they should participate in a meaningful parliamentary discussion on the serious issue of paper leaks. He emphasised that paper leaks are a national concern, not limited to any one government or political party.
Mr Nadda also raised concerns about paper leaks in various examinations across Congress and opposition-ruled states. He accused the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, of being selective and questioned why he hasn't discussed these incidents. Mr Nadda alleged that Mr Gandhi wants to take political advantage from this matter, which he deems unfortunate.
During a press conference, Mr Gandhi gave a presentation discussing 150 examination paper leaks. According to Mr Nadda, this is a matter of investigation, and the government will present the truth before the public and nation once the investigation is complete.
