In Alirajpur district, Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, paid floral tributes at the statue of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad, a legendary freedom fighter born in Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar. During his visit, he emphasized the continued inspiration of Azad's sacrifice and ideals.
Following the tribute, Dr. Yadav flagged off the 'Azad Prerna Mashal Yatra,' which saw participation from public representatives, government officials, youth, and local citizens. The torch procession culminated at Azad Kutia (Azad Smriti Mandir), where the Chief Minister offered additional floral tributes.
At Azad Smriti Mandir, Dr. Yadav viewed exhibits depicting various aspects of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad's life and legacy, including his birth, childhood, role in the freedom struggle, supreme sacrifice for the nation, and involvement with the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army (HSRA). He highlighted that Azad's life remains an example of courage, self-respect, and patriotism.
Recalling Chandrashekhar Azad's life, struggles, and unparalleled sacrifice at Azad Kutia, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called upon young people to actively participate in nation-building and imbibe the ideals of the country's great revolutionaries.
