
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announces several development projects and major announcements during Balram Krishi Mahotsav in Alirajpur, including the completion of the Dahi–Narmada Pipeline Irrigation Project, establishment of a memorial park dedicated to Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad, and expansion of accommodation facilities in girls' hostels. The event also highlights achievements in various sectors such as agriculture, education, healthcare, and social media.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the Balram Krishi Mahotsav at Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar in Alirajpur district and announced several development projects and major announcements. One of the key announcements was the completion of the Dahi–Narmada Pipeline Irrigation Project, which will provide Narmada water to Jobat shortly.
The Chief Minister also announced a grand memorial park dedicated to Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad will be developed at Bhabhra and Rani Kajal Mata Lok will also be established. Accommodation facilities in girls' hostels will be expanded as well.
During the programme, it was highlighted that under the SVAMITVA Scheme, 10,136 beneficiaries have received benefits, while 331 beneficiaries have been allotted residential plots. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 90,124 permanent houses have been sanctioned and free ration is being provided to 5,70,179 beneficiaries in the district.
Eligible beneficiaries are also receiving assistance under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ladli Behna Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. The Chief Minister reaffirmed the Government's commitment to women and youth welfare, stating that Ladli Behna beneficiaries receive ₹1,500 every month.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the importance of farmers' contribution to the nation, comparing their dedication to that of soldiers safeguarding the borders. He noted under Krishak Kalyan Varsh 2026, the State Government is making efforts to improve the welfare of farmers.
Minister Dr. Yadav also mentioned new irrigation projects being implemented, such as the Kondwa Irrigation Project and the Dahi Lift Irrigation Scheme, including the Narmada Pipeline Project, which is expected to significantly expand irrigation in Alirajpur district.
The event encouraged natural and modern farming practices and honoured progressive farmers promoting these techniques. The Chief Minister also honoured social media influencers from Alirajpur district for their outstanding contribution to public awareness, the promotion of positive messaging, and the effective dissemination of information on government welfare schemes.
The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill was enacted by the State Government in the interest of all citizens, with respect given to tribal customs and traditions.
