In men’s cricket, India secured a comprehensive seven-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the opening T20 International of a three-match series held at Harare yesterday. This victory was primarily driven by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's impressive 50 runs off just 19 deliveries, which set the pace for India to chase down a target of 126 runs within 13.2 overs.
Prior to this, Zimbabwe had managed to score 125 for seven in their allocated 20 overs after being asked to bat first. The second match of the series will take place at the same venue tomorrow.
