This article highlights the various medals won by Indian athletes in different events at the ongoing Asian Games in Nagoya, including silver in mixed 4x400m relay race, bronze in women's 10,000m, mixed skeet team event, and wushu and rowing.

In a noteworthy achievement, India's mixed 4x400m relay team secured the silver medal today with a timing of 3 mins 14.46 seconds. The quartet comprised of Poovamma Raju, Vishal Thennarasu, Vithya Ramraj, and Manu TS, who were defending the silver medal won in the previous edition in Hangzhou. Bahrain clinched the gold with a Games record of 3 mins 12.87 seconds. In another notable event, Seema Kumari earned India's first medal in the women’s 10,000m event at the Asian Games in 16 years, securing bronze after completing the race in 32.50 mins.

Earlier in Shooting, Anant Jeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal bagged bronze in the mixed skeet team event, marking India's first-ever medal in this category. The pair missed only four of 48 shots and ended on par with South Korea, but lost to South Korea in the tie-breaker. China won the gold.

In Boxing, Parveen progressed to the quarterfinals of the Women’s 65kg category after receiving a walkover from Tajikistan's Malika Nozimova in the round of 16 at Nishio. She will now face reigning world silver medallist Navbakhor Khamidova of Uzbekistan.

In the morning, Indian wushu player Roshibina Devi Naorem won Silver in the Women’s 60kg Sanda event after losing 0-2 to China’s Zhang Xiaoyu in the final. This was her third Asian Games medal, following Silver in the 2023 Hangzhou Games and Bronze in 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games. In Men's double sculls rowing, Satnam Singh and Salman Khan won bronze.

However, Commonwealth Games champion Sakshi Chaudhary was eliminated from the Games after her loss in the Women’s 51 kg pre-quarters to reigning World Champion Alua Balkibekova.
