In a ceremony at Mantralaya, Ashok Barnwal, the newly appointed Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh, was welcomed by Heads of Departments and bid farewell to the outgoing Chief Secretary Anurag Jain. During his speech, Barnwal urged officers to work collaboratively as 'Team Madhya Pradesh' in the effective implementation of government schemes, programmes, and policy decisions.
Outgoing Chief Secretary Anurag Jain thanked the officers for their dedicated efforts and appreciated their significant contributions towards realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). Director General of Police Kailash Makwana praised Jain for his unwavering support to the Police Department in accomplishing several landmark initiatives, including making Madhya Pradesh Naxal-free.
Officers also acknowledged the contributions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and outgoing Chief Secretary Anurag Jain in restarting the promotion process after a gap of nearly 15 years. Additional Chief Secretaries Shri Rajesh Rajora, Smt. Rashmi Arun Shami, Shri Sanjay Dubey, and Shri Shivshekhar Shukla also addressed the gathering.
The ceremony was attended by Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Shubhranjan Sen, Director General of Police Kailash Makwana, and other senior administrative and police officers. Officers felicitated both Barnwal and Jain with shawls, coconuts, and mementoes.
