Paras Defence & Space Technologies plans to invest nearly ₹6,200 crore for a semiconductor manufacturing project in Madhya Pradesh, creating over 2,500 direct employment opportunities. The company is impressed by the state's Semiconductor Policy and has already identified suitable land.
On Tuesday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh welcomed investors from Paras Defence & Space Technologies Private Limited at the Chief Minister's Office in the state legislative assembly. The company, which manufactures advanced optical systems, was impressed by Madhya Pradesh's Semiconductor Policy and has already identified land for establishing its semiconductor manufacturing unit in the State.
In the presence of Dr. Yadav, the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh and the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The corporate headquarters of Paras Defence & Space Technologies is located in Navi Mumbai.
Dr. Yadav encouraged the investors to invest in the state with confidence, assuring them of the State Government's full support. The proposed project requires approximately 50 acres of land, for which the Ujjain Regional Office of MPIDC has shown around 40 acres of suitable land in Phase-II of DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Limited.
