Officials have reported that at least 37 people have lost their lives following a Russian attack on the Bucha district, which is located close to the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. The head of the local regional military administration has stated that over 50 residential buildings were damaged in the attack, which also led to a large-scale fire that engulfed homes and a restaurant.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued a statement indicating that a warehouse in the village of Myla was hit, followed by a detonation. The statement further highlighted damages to a care home for elderly people and those with disabilities, as well as residential buildings.
